The Sales tracking, Payment & Pre-order System is the ICT system that will assist Neighbourhood Farm,
to have a control of the daily stock they have harvested and sold out.
This is just a proposal there is nothing have been implemented or tested.
The aim of this proposal is to implement ICT on the Neighbourhood farm
initiative in the deep south of Cape stretching from Muizenberg to Kommetjie.
Stock Management System will be consisting of numerous functionalities that will
be used to collect and analyse data such as from sales management, stock management,
feedback system pre-order system and communication. The collected data is used for sales
tracking analysis. The focus here will be the development of consumer/supplier system.
Consumer will be able to request order of a desired product, confirmation of payment method and
receive the confirmation of an invoice via email after the order is verified for collection.
Sales tracking system will enhance the productive, reduce lost product and maximize the profit,
because the collected data will be able to identify the most selling product. The communication
tool will be more from the administration side where the notification of specials and harvested
product daily will be communicated to the registered consumers. Supplier will be able to upload
the product they are will to supply to Neighbourhood farm to be sold on their behalf, and get
verification with the information what time they can make a drop of. This will increase the effectiveness,
flexibility and operations will be smoother running.
