My part of project will have a focus on sales management, pre-order system and embedded payment system.
Sales management system is going to assist salesperson to get organized by functioning as a tool to manage
their contacts, track selling product and ultimately reduce the time mostly spent on internal admin.
Neighbourhood Farm main benefit will be that their focus will be on the activities that drive the sales.
Communication system allows the Neighbourhood Farm to communicate their daily specials to the consumer and
keep a flexible feedback loop between admin, consumer and suppliers to when to come and collect the order
and drop the product respective of time. Pre-order system helps with reducing queues, whereby it allows the
consumer to make order online, view previous orders, keep track of collected and cancelled orders, edit
profile whereby consumer can be come and a supplier.
These components will amplify the day-to-day
Neighbourhood Farm operations and they will increase efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery of
the organization. Following figures are the interface prototype of the three components that I will be
working on in this group project. Below there is diagram (Figure1) that clarify the focus of each team
member’s contribution Valentines is working on Stock produce management and data analysis. Atang is working
on communication, pre-order and payment system. Added part 3 of the project is the implementation part
where the design is used to implement the solution for payment and embedded payment system. I will be
explaining the software’s and hardware are going to be used during the implementation stage. And how the
code is structured based on functions/methods/classes and lastly mention few methods are going to be used
in the testing stage.
