UWC Computer Science for the win.
This year the University of the Western Cape dominated the top spots at the annual Student Cluster Competition at the Center for High-Performance Computing conference hosted by national government and the CSIR that took place over the course of 5 intense days of hardcore computing and it is not surprising given the amount of effort and passion put into getting here,
we congratulate three teams in two categories
Cybersecurity Security Challenge
Team: We who shall not be named
Who came in hot and won 2nd place in the Cybersecurity challenge part of the CHPC. And a warm thank you to mentor and lecturer Mr. Andre Henney
Center for High-Performance Computing
Team: 2Cups 1Node ** Who took 2nd place in the CHPC**
Team: SendNodes **Who took 4th place in the top 5 of the CHPC**
We also give a big thank you to Mr. Eugene De Beste for all the effort given into training our SCC teams. Eugene has been a fantastic mentor and has been instrumental to the many successes shared by the University over the last few years.
