Olasupo Ajayi received his PhD. in Computer science from the University of Lagos. His research interests include but are not limited to Cloud/Fog/Edge computing, Internet of Things, Cyber Physical Systems and enabling technologies of the fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), especially in Africa. He actively seeks various ways of applying these technologies to healthcare, traffic, water management, rural development among others; and has published a number of articles around these research interests in journals, books and proceedings of international conferences.
He is a member of the Intelligent Systems and Advanced Telecommunication (ISAT) research group at the Computer Science department, UWC. As a member of this group, some of his active collaboration include University of Missouri, USA on Cyber Physical Systems and Internet-of-Things; ESIS Salama School of Computer Science, DRC on Internet-of-Things and Artificial Intelligence; University of California, Davis, USA on Next Generation Networks; Aalen University, Germany on Machine Learning & Data Analytics and University of Lagos, Nigeria on Robotics and Internet-of-Things.
Dr. Ajayi, has (co-)supervised a number of final year / Honors projects and MSc. Students; and is a frequent reviewer for a FGCS Journal, IEEE Access, Applied Computing & Informatics Journal, South African Journal of Computer Science and the Journal of Adv. Computational Intelligence & Intelligent Informatics (JACIII).
