From the 9th to 15th of November, join the University of Edinburgh School of Informatics, IBM and the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) for a virtual hackathon:
“Call for Code University Spot Challenge for Europe, Middle East and Africa:
Students vs Climate Change”
This event is open to students in teams of 3-5, aged 18 years of age and older, from all academic disciplines and aims to spark ideas for how you can put your talents into practice to make a difference in your community.

What? Call for Code University Spot Challenge for Europe, Middle East and Africa: Students vs Climate Change
When? 9th – 15th November 2020, winners announced the 20th November.
Who? University students in Europe, the Middle East and Africa who want to learn how to bring their innovative ideas to life in order to tackle climate change in the areas of :
• Water sustainability
• Energy sustainability
• Disaster recovery
Student for all disciplines, with or without technical backgrounds, are encouraged to join.
Why? In our ever-evolving world, it is critical that we use technology and its potential for good to help build more resilient communities.
